mr. snowman

The newest pattern from FreshStitches is out! It's called Snowman, Choose Your Own Adventure. It's just like the Dragon pattern, you get to choose how your snowman turns out. I was lucky enough to get to test this wonderful pattern! If you buy the pattern by the end of Thursday, you can get $1 off using the coupon code 'frosty', buy it here.

For my snowman, I decided that I wanted him to have some type of accessory on his hat. I made a bow and holly (pattern here) but wasn't sure which should be sewn on, @beadingbabe on instagram gave me the idea to use both! I attached velcro to each piece, so that they could be switched out. I like them both!

I made this for my swap partner for the Christmas Exchange through It's Just Emmy. I participated in the garland exchange as well. The exchanges are held to help fund adoptions while having some fun! I think it's a really fun idea and plan to participate again!

I also plan on crocheting at least one more snowman, some people here really liked this guy, so I need to make his twin!

Thanks for sharing this, just been and ordered it and thanks for the ncode, only cost me £3.84. Can't wait to start it.
He's cute. About , oh my stars is it twenty years ago, I crocheted three-ball snowmen and set them around my greeting card store in South Florida where it Never snowed-ever. The little old ladies (of which I am now one :)) just thought they were as cute as could be.

I like your two-ball guy better. He sits more securely and doesn't want to tip over like a drunken bum as mine did. The hat decorations are just divine. And the scarf too.
