crochet therapy

crochet therapy

I recently needed to do some mindless crochet, so I grabbed some of my stashed Bernat Mosaic and started hooking up some Super Simple hexagons. I've made these so many times that I don't even look at the pattern anymore.

I am joining in the hexagons as I go, using up one skein at a time. It has grown very quickly in just a week, it's sitting at 75 hexagons now.

I haven't touched it in a couple days now but that's completely fine with me, it means that I'm starting to feel more like myself again. This blanket won't get completely abandoned though, I really like the way it has turned out so far. I would love to end up with a big cozy couch blanket but I'll need to add more of this yarn to my stash first, I'm at the last skein already!

  4. It is funny you say crochet is like therapy, it is like this for me too. When I am stressed, crochet usually makes the trick. I am really inspired by this hexagons, I will try to make some too, since I have never made them!

    Have a fantastic day

  5. This is lovely! It's a good idea to have a project to visit as and when you need to I think, it means you don't need to think and can just enjoy the process and let your mind rest.

  9. Hi there I found you over at Untangling Knots. Just had to comment that I love the blanket your creating. The wool looks gorgeous and I really love the colours. I've only just discovered crochet and I have to agree it's very theraputic. I wish I'd discovered it years ago. Have a lovely week. Ali x
