floppy earred bunny hat

floppy earred bunny hat

I finally made a hat that fit! I don't usually get hats to work out too well, so I'm really proud of this actually working!

I used this pattern to make this cute bunny hat. The yarn that I used is called Bernat Pipsqueak in baby blue and whitey white, it's super soft but really hard to work with, finding my stitches was a pain, eventually I got the hang of it. I made it in the 6-12 month size and went up half a hook size (5.5mm) to make sure it would fit.

As cute as it is to look at on a table, it's even cuter on a baby! It fits perfectly!

  1. I have the same problem with hats! Glad to know I'm not the only one. And I have grown to hate that fluffy yarn stuff for the same reasons. I've learned it doesn't matter how much you mess up where the stitch goes, the fluff hides it anyway! I love how yours turned out - seems like a good idea for an upcoming baby shower. Thanks for sharing - it made me feel better!
