a pink sparkly birthday unicorn

You guys, I am so excited by this finish!! I actually got to make something that isn't destined for the craft sale. I made this unicorn to give to my niece at her 3rd birthday party this weekend, I'm hoping she'll like her.



The Michaels store I go to has been fixing up their yarn section by adding new brands and new colors to already existing brands that they carry. I was really excited when I saw that they finally have Impeccable Glitter in pink, I have wanted to make a unicorn with pink glitter since the pattern was released. The color is really cute and works so good for this project! For the mane, I used Craft Smart yarn in the fiesta colorway, it works perfectly for a unicorn's mane!



My favorite detail that I added to this unicorn is her eyelashes, they're perfect and girly. I'm thinking maybe I should go back to my already finished unicorns for the sale and add some eyelashes, I might do that.
