jumbo dragon WIP

I'm participating in the newest CAL happening in the FreshStitches group on ravelry. This one is for the Choose Your Own Dragon Adventure, it's running until September 16th and there's even a prize you can win, you can find out all about that on Stacey's blog.

I've already crocheted two dragons when I tested the pattern, a boy and a girl dragon. I decided that I still wanted to participate anyway, this time I'm making a jumbo sized dragon! I'm using a 9mm hook and Bernat Softee Chunky yarn in grass and pumpkin.

I took an in-progress picture beside my first dragon to compare sizes, I'm only half way through the body and he's already the same size! This dragon is going to be a big guy. The first dragon is looking a little worn already, he's very well loved!

    Oh this look like a fun CAL, I love the dragon, the pattern is a bit too expensive for me though.
