July

july
The makings in July weren't as scarse as I thought they were! I didn't actually share it all here but I did manage to fill a mosaic, not too bad at all.

I showed you the coasters I made for a swap I did with Jacey. I loved making those, I really should make myself some too.

I crocheted an owl, I never shared her here but you can see my ravelry page for the finished owl. After taking the finished picture, I didn't care for it so much anymore, probably why I never posted it!

I haven't been feeling so great this month, so I started a distraction blanket using up my Bernat Mosaic. I haven't touched it since I posted about it and that's still a good thing!

There was a cute snail pinned on pinterest and I had to have one of my own, I made mine up as I went but there is a pattern for the same thing on ravelry. He still lives in my bonsai tree, the kids have mostly left him alone.

Lizzie slippers from Good Knits! Super fast and cute project.

I knit a log cabin! I can't believe I didn't post about this because I am so proud of myself for figuring this out! This one is a washcloth, I was going to make it bigger for a blanket but have since decided to figure out a color scheme before tackling a blanket.

  2. great projects, especially the coasters, why is it that we love making things and giving them away but never make anything for ourselves

  4. That snail is super duper cute! Log cabin blankets have always intrigued me. I have no idea how they are done but they look very cool.

  5. Wow, you've been busy! I love those slippers, again...what kind of yarn did you use? I think I'd like cotton. And the distraction blanket is especially pretty!!!

  7. Isn't it funny how when you scrapbook or make mosaics of your creativity you see sometimes that there's a lot more that's happened than you remembered?! Beautiful work.
