Kristen went and inspired me to make something again! Her latest crocheted blanket is done in a woven stitch and looks so cuddly! I really wanted to use this stitch but don't think that I could manage a big blanket, so I decided to try out a dishcloth instead.
I love working the woven stitch, it's easy, fast and looks really good! The stitch is just sc, ch 1 across and you sc in the ch1 spaces. There's a really good tutorial for the stitch here.
I love how this cloth turned out! It's a little narrow though, I should have started with more chains, next one I will.

Wow it look stunning, I love the happy colours! Have a wonderful Day.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I miss my blanket, maybe I'll make some dishcloths now, too! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely pattern had a look at that blanket it's beautiful but I'n not sure that I would have the patience to make a whole blanket with sc and ch, maybe a baby blanket now that's an idea :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! And thanks for the link to Kristen. She has some really nice crochet things.
