two willows

It's quiet here on the blog again, I want to blog but I can't seem to find any words lately. I'm trying, I don't know what it is that's making it so hard. I am instagramming a lot, so you can always find me sharing stuff there when it gets quiet here.

I've got two Willow blankets to share today! I made one for each of my girls. Willow is such a pretty blanket, it's easy to fall in love with.

pink willow

They were both made using Bernat Waverly yarns, the pink is called fresh flower (I love the Waverly names!), it's such a soft pink.

As soon as I finished with the pink one, my other daughter wanted one too and she asked for green. Again, I used Bernat Waverly yarns, the green is called celadon and the yellow is butter.

When I was making the pink willow, I thought that a band on the blanket might look good so I knew I was going to give it a try on the next one. I'm glad I went for it because I love that yellow band!

I'm really happy with these two Willow blankets!

  8. Celadon is my #1, all-time favourite colour ever. I think I will have to pick up some of this yarn and make something just for myself so I can have it around all the time!
