hexipuffing along

DSC03391

I went out and picked up a couple new skeins of the Bernat Mosaic in some different colorways to add some more color to my hexipuffs. I got medusa and spectrum, I love these colors!

I have to admit that I'm not entirely in love with these little hexipuffs anymore, I'm really trying to give them more of a chance though because I was so in love with the idea of this quilt. It may be because a couple of them are different sizes, I'm just not sure. I'm bummed out that I'm not so into them now.

I'm linking this post up with Tuesday Tallies for the One a Day project!

  1. I wonder if a bit of blocking and putting them in a jar to look prettily at you for a bit might help? I think they are lovely but the thought of making dozzens of them gives me a bit of a twitch.

  2. Sometimes you have to walk away from something for a bit then come back to it with a renewed interest. (However, maybe you shouldn't listen to me considering I am notorious for starting more projects than I finish!)

  3. As Miss Kitten said, maybe blocking them would help you love them again? I think they're just beautiful and the yarn you're using is gorgeous - I can just imagine the quilt in all those lovely colours! :)

  4. Don't give up yet, why don't you make enough to make a teapot cosy.. and when you've made enough for that.. you can either keep going or just make a teapot cosy! Loving the colours that you're using.

  5. I like Rie's idea! Make enough to do have a finished project at least! Maybe a trivet even?

I think the colors are beautiful! But my saying is, why make something that you don't enjoy when there are sooo many patterns out there and things to make!

    Love,
    LeeAnn

  6. You've done better than me - I've still only got one!

I love yours but if you don't like them, it's going to be really hard to keep going.

Thanks for joining in with One a Day x

  9. Your hexipuffs look lovely, but I too would be inclined to start something else and then revisit from time to time so you don't ge too bored.

  10. Keep going! These little puffs are seriously cute and I honestly think once you have a few more you'll love it again. At least go to a cushion cover size so you can 'abort' the blanket but still use them :-) Keep going I say! x
