a stool cover

stool cover

Here's an easy project I finished the other day. I did this after I finished my knitting, I needed to hook something! Thanks for all the knitting love yesterday!

Using the granny mandala pattern, I made a cover for one of the stools we have for the kids. I have two more that I want to make covers for as well, I'll be doing different patterns on each of them and I'll be making them more girly. This one is for the boy to use, he seems to like it.

I used a size 5 hook and Bernat Handicrafter cotton in various colors. I just grabbed a bunch of colors I thought might look good and crocheted away. This is the order: hot blue, indigo, pale yellow, softly taupe, hot green, mod green, robin's egg, aqua, cream, indigo and hot blue. The stool is a lime green plastic stool from Ikea.
