I started this table topper way back in April, it sat half finished on the side table until a few weeks ago when I finally grabbed it to complete it.
To make this, I only used my scrap cottons, although if you looked at all my cotton now, you would never be able to tell that I was trying to use up what I had. It was a lot of fun to see this come together, colors that I didn't think would work well side by side ended up looking really good.
I used the ruby hexagon pattern and did 26 rows. I finished it off with a scallop border in white. I wanted to make it so it would hang off the table more but the more rows I added, the less it wanted to lay flat, so I stopped crocheting, I still like it with less hang.
I'm happy to have another WIP finished!

ReplyDeleteWOW! Your projects are extraordinary! This is just one more to add to the list. Anything you place on top of it will pale by comparison, but you will enjoy using and admiring it. Even the daffodils would be jealous.
