Here's another dishcloth I tested for the swap, it's crocheted in the round and all in the backloops. I like the look that crocheting in backloops gives. You can find the pattern for this cloth right here. I used crown jewel in Bernat Handicrafter cotton again.
Because I liked this cloth so much, I made a second one using a new colorway I spotted a couple weeks ago, it's phsychedelic (Bernat Handicrafter). I like this colorway!
I really like the phsycedelic one!!! I wonder what it would look like with a border ... v-stitch perhaps?

Thanks for sharing! This is next on my to-do list. I made the basketweave last week and it worked up nicely. Have a great day. Tammy
ReplyDeleteI like the way backloops look, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm really into crochet potholders right now. I think this would be a great pattern for potholders too ! Gtz, Rozemie
ReplyDeleteI've always loved crocheting in the backloops but have never tried it when working in the round. Terrific effect.
ReplyDeleteThey look great. I love the colours.
ReplyDeletejust curious as I have never made dishcloths before what type of yarn do you use?
Your dishcloths are looking good! I like the effect. Thank you for sharing the link.
ReplyDeletethese dishcloths look so good. the pattern reminds me of a craft project i made at camp--i think we called them "god's eyes." the project involved wrapping yarn around two crossed sticks. in the end it looked like a square spiral, similar to this.
