a pincushion

I participated in a pincushion swap this month and this is the pincushion I made. The pattern is called Crochet Cake Toppers and it came from an issue of Crochet Today. The only change from the pattern I made was that I omitted the top tier of it. I like it with only two layers, it's cute.

I used Vanna Choice yarn in magenta for the cake, for the icing I used some left over sparkly holiday yarn.
