bobble headband

More bobbles to share! I really love this, when Allison from field wonderful shared her first design on her blog, I knew I was going to have to make it!

bobble headband

It's a bobble headband. I actually have been trying to figure what to make to wear outside in the cold all winter long! My poor ears have been freezing because I'm too stubborn to actually wear a toque. It's been months of freezing! This keeps my ears very warm and I think I look pretty good in it too. No pictures of me wearing it though, I hate taking pictures of myself.

I changed a couple small things from the pattern to help this fit my head better, I have a ridiculously small head and am never able to wear store bought headbands, unless they're from the children's section. Instead of 56 rows, I only did 52, not a huge difference. And for the edging I stuck with the hdc stitch.

I used Loops & Threads Impeccable Solids in true gray to make the headband, I really like this color right now and somehow it seems softer than any of the others. Want to make one of these for yourself? The pattern can be found here.
