2014 crochet mood blanket: week 1

Week one of the mood blanket is done! I plan on sharing my squares every Monday. I'm liking how it's looking already but I think it's going to look even better when I get to the second row.

I've decided that the grape color will stand for annoyed as well as stressed/angry, it's a good fit I think. I was definitely pretty annoyed with things for those two days.
January 1: happy/good day
January 2: tired
January 3: annoyed
January 4: annoyed
January 5: meh/boring day
Hope you're all having a great day and are staying warm!

I am so interested in your mood blanket, Casey! It looks amazing already, and what a good way to remember the emotions of a year. It definitely makes me want to find a way to track my own moods. I think most of my squares would be gray (tired!) these days.
I think this is such a wonderful inspiring creative project!
I think that is a great idea. I may have to adopt a mood project of my own!!
This is lovely! Like your take on making the plain granny square a bit different! I too am oing to do a crochet along but trying to decide what kindof blanket i want to end up with! So i am already behind! Eek! good luck with this!
What a neat idea!
That's such a cool pattern. I'm loving your colors! I was going to do this mood blanket but I am in the middle of a granny square blanket already that has many colors in each square. So I get to sit back and check out everyone else's and get motivation that way. :)

Have a good one!

I am loving your blanket so far! The colors are fantastic, and the off-center granny look is so fun. I'm excited to watch it come together!
Loving you idea... the squares are coming along nicely! I have finally began my mood blanklet crochet along! www.sharkyknows-charles.blogspot.com
what a thing to have, and make, you'll cherish it forever!
I LOVE your off-center grannies. :) Planning to use this photo for a blog post about the mood blanket project on thinkcrafts.com -- will leave you the link once it goes live! ♥
