crocheted Dobby doll

Here's another gift I can share now that Christmas is over. My aunt asked me to crochet her granddaughter a Dobby doll. Dobby is from the Harry Potter movies, I have never actually watched any of them or read the books, so my ravelry friends helped me with choosing his coloring.


He's super cute! I used the Little Folk Amigurumi pattern. The pattern is really well written and it gives a quite a few different options for making all kinds of house elves. I used Loops & Threads Impeccable Solids in soft taupe for the body and I used size 18mm eyes.

This isn't the kind of toy I would have ever made on my own, so I'm glad I was asked to make him, I'm really happy with how he turned out. I even think I need my own house elf now.
