I finished my knit dishtowel! It's not very big but it's big enough to do its job. Knitting is so slow and I got so tired of it, I just decided to end it, if I hadn't it might never have gotten finished. Even though it didn't end up as big as I had first wanted, I'm still happy with the end result. I knit something! That's pretty awesome.
I finished the dishtowel off with an aqua crochet border, I think it finishes it off nicely.

The inpsiration for this dishtowel came from Kristen at Cozy Things, she's explains how to make one of your own there.

It's just perfect ! And after the 'slow food' hype, we now have the slow knitting too !
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty to use. One of the reasons why I prefer crocheting to knitting is because of how quickly I find something that is being crocheted grows in comparison.
ReplyDeletehow pretty and creative. I love it!
ReplyDeletevery pretty ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, knitting is tedious!! It looks really lovely though!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! Your border is a perfect finish.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The aqua border is beautiful. I've just got up the nerve to use mine for the first time--eeek, it's white!--but that's what it's for, I suppose. I hope you use yours, too. :)
