I did 35 V-stitch rows in the charcoal, 10 in the white and 15 in the off white. It ended up being 54 inches long, long enough for me to wrap it around twice which is exactly what I wanted.
When I joined the two ends together, I twisted it first to make it a mobius, I just love those! It looks exactly how I wanted it to look, I love the charcoal behind the whites when I wear it. Not that I'm wearing it just yet, it's still pretty warm most days here but I can't wait for winter to finally hit and I can start wearing this!
My sister is the one modeling the cowl for me, super nice of her since she was very pregnant when she did it!
Go check out the other awesome cowls made for the CAL at Maybe Matilda's and maybe vote for me? (if you like my cowl!)
Thanks for stopping by today!
Beautiful work! I hadn't realized there were 3 colors--what a cool idea! I've worked with the Loops and Thread charisma yarn once before, and I love it, too. It's so, so super soft! Your cowl is so gorgeous--thanks so much for participating!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely. I really like the idea of using a few different colors. Thanks for sharing!

That is AWESOME!! I love how you did the two colors, and how it looks wrapped around your neck. Good job!
ReplyDeleteI love that you used different colours, it makes it look like you wear two cowls. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of cowls and yours looks super cosy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea, to do two colors and double it. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the version that you've made of this crochet cowl. The extra colors and the mobius make it really unique. And now I want to try that yarn!
