granny basket

granny basket

I love this color, it's sunny day in Loops & Threads Charisma. I used it and a size 8 hook to make this granny basket for my son's big lego (and spiderman). I used this pattern from Pickles, I did an extra round for the bottom to make it just a little bit wider, it really wasn't necessary though, the basket stretches a lot.

The basket forms so quickly, it only took me close to an hour to finish this and stuff it with lego with help from the boy.

    Casey, this is super cute! I can imagine this as a hanging basket. Like those three basket thingys you put fruit in. I love your stuff...

    i'm working on this pattern now but i am totally lost when she mentions the "L chain" part in rounds 5-12 and i can't find anywhere online how to do that. what did you do?
