I decided to give the african flower dishcloth pattern a try in some variegated yarn. I used Bernat cottons in meadow, jewel and batik. I think the pattern looks better in a solid but these are pretty still.
I gave these to my sister who just moved into her new apartment this weekend, a nice quick gift. While I was over, she gave me a recipe book to write out some recipes for her, I have a couple but would love to find some new ones (for her and for me!). If you have any favorites, please share a link in the comments!
p.s: I'll be posting a pattern for these dishcloths tomorrow!
What a nice present for your sister!

Pretty colours, but your right the varigated yarn does stop you from seeing the pattern of the dishcloth as well.
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern and the colors are divine!

P.S. Thank you for dropping by :)
I love the way that this pattern works up in a variegated yarn. Awesome!
