I made this back in April but forgot to share it here. I had been meaning to make a swiffer sock for such a long time but some other project always seemed to get in the way. I finally sat down and crocheted one up for my swiffer wet jet, no pattern was used, I just crocheted as I went. It wasn't too hard, I kept the swiffer close at hand to make sure it would fit.
Every other row, I did fpdc's to give it a little texture to help with scrubbing.
I added a little scalloping as well, just to girl it up a bit. The sock has been getting a lot of use, it works really well! And finally I won't have to be spending money on those refill pads.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Very clever of you. :)
ReplyDeletewondering if I could do something similar for my dog..being it is his hair that I end up swiffering :)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for using up your stash. I have a swiffer and usually just find an old cloth to stick onto it. Might have to work on my own swiffer sock. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteHow neat and pretty too! That is very clever of you. I think I can do that too! I have lots of left over cotton yarn that would work very well.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Wishing you a happy week. :)
