This is something I started in the beginning of April but I put it aside to do other things. I just picked it back to get it finished and into it's rightful spot. I'm using the
ruby hexagon pattern to make a table topper for a side table. I'm making on big hexagon, there's still a few rows to go, I want it to hang off the sides.
I'm using up as much of my scrap cotton to make this as I can, as it grows, it's been harder to use the smaller bits though. I really like how it's looking right now, when it's done, I'll make sure I get a picture of it on the table!

ReplyDeleteI love this pattern and it looks particularly good made up with the cotton. I'm definently going to try this soon. Lovely blog x
ReplyDeleteI've never used hexagons and this looks lovely. The colours are gorgeous and that cotton does give it really clear stitch definition which is great. Look forward to seeing the finished table topper.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I am in love. That looks fantastic, and it'll be so great on your table. I love the idea of making it bigger, bigger, bigger, until it hangs off the sides a little. Man, now I want one, too! I can't wait to see it. :)
ReplyDeleteAs yet I don't crochet, but I was really drawn to this picture. It looks just beautiful, so inviting. One day I'll figure out how to hook!
