I made this potholder not too long ago, I'm not sure how I've managed to not make one of these before. This pattern can be found at Alice's blog. It uses the fun african flower pattern, which you can find in the comments here and Alice's mandala pattern, which I love!
I went with purples and cream for this potholder, I really love how it turned out. It's hanging up with the rest of my potholders in my kitchen. (someday I will get a photo of them all together!)
Very pretty ... would definitely love to see a pic of all of the potholders you have hanging!
ReplyDeleteTruly! This w/ the colors you chose is simply one of the prettiest potholders!
ReplyDeleteWso pretty! love your colour choice! how long does it take you to make one?
ReplyDeleteIsn't this beautiful?!?!? With the colors, it reminds me of a Delft plate. I saw this last night and immediately grabbed some yarn and decided to give it a whirl as I sat in bed getting ready to shut it down for the day. I was too tired, but will continue today. Inspirational work! I absolutely LOVE the edging you selected to add! I've been silently visiting your blog for awhile, and have finally decided to join the fun with a blog of my own...makes it easier to comment too! =) Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so pretty!! :) Love it!

ReplyDeleteI love the crocheted potholders, they remind me of my Mother and Grandmother. They both made plenty of them.
