how about some cute?

bath foamies!

Last week I said I had something cute to share, so here it is! I made these to make bath time just a bit more fun. I really love these guys, they're just too adorable. I made three of them, two girls and a boy, so my kids each get one of their own.

I got the pattern here, they're called Foamies. I used a size H(5mm) hook instead of the D(3.25mm) suggested, so they turned out pretty big, they're each 6.5 inches. I used a yarn I haven't used before, Cottontots. They have fun names for the colors, I used blueberry, sunshine, lovely lilac and strawberry. To stuff these guys, I used some old cut up t-shirts, that way they can be tossed into the wash easily.

    These are so cute! These would make great stocking stuffers for Christmas. I'm definitely going to "Hook IT" on Ravelry and make some.

    What a great gift this would make for a new mom (unique and adorable!)-- Plus, as a fan of repurposing myself, I LOVE how you've used scrapped tshirts for the stuffing. SO clever!

    these are super cute! Love the idea of stuffing them with t-shrts, thats great!
    Disprin is a dissolvable painkiller that turns into a drink, better than swallowing pills except it tastes like shit!!!!! I learned from an old boss that it is the best way ever to ward off colds, to gargle is and it really is! I think I missed out on my moment though! Hope you feel better soon!
