Day Three: Tidy mind, tidy stitches.
How do you keep your yarn wrangling organised? It seems like an easy to answer question at first, but in fact organisation exists on many levels. Maybe you are truly not organised at all, in which case I am personally daring you to try and photograph your stash in whatever locations you can find the individual skeins. However, if you are organised, blog about an aspect of that organisation process, whether that be a particularly neat and tidy knitting bag, a decorative display of your crochet hooks, your organised stash or your project and stash pages on Ravelry
I would say that when it comes to organization with my yarn and crochet, I am messy organized. Everything has it's place but it's not there in a pretty way. I have bags filled with yarn stuffed into a laundry basket in my closet. Someday, I will get a shelf for it all.
I have a small glass jar that collects all my hooks, needles, measuring tape and a pair of scissors. I have been meaning to make a jar cover since I started putting my hooks into it, yet another project on the to-do list.
When I'm working on a project, I will usually grab a plastic bag and stuff all the yarn and hooks needed into it. It makes it easy to grab everything I need when I want it, though I would like to start using small baskets instead. For babette, I've been using a laundry basket to keep all the yarn together.
